P1 is always used as a subject.
It is always followed by a verb.

P2 is always used as an adjective.
It is always placed before a noun.
[ He] likes (his
shoes) very much.
[ The cat ] licks
(its paws) every day.
[ Joseph and I ] often help
(our Science teacher).
[You and Tom] feed
(your dogs) every day.
P3 is always used as an object.
It is always placed after a verb or a preposition or a gerund / F2.
[ My aunt] sent ( me
) a card last week.
[ Alice ] talks to
(them) happily every day.
[ We ] are all
afraid of (it).
[ You ] play with
(us) every day.
Thank you for helping (us).
P4 is used when you don’t want to mention the noun again.
[ That ] is your book. [ This ] is mine. (‘mine = my book)
[ His bicycle ] is
here. Where is [ yours] ?
P5 is always used with the right person. The first person ‘I’ always goes with the reflexive pronoun
‘myself’ ; ‘you’ with ‘yourself’ and the like.
